[Hongqi Canal] The Hongqi Canal was created in the 1960s. In order to change the harsh living environment of drought and water shortage, the people of Linxian County, Henan Province, under extremely difficult conditions, with one hammer, one drill and one hand, fought hard for ten years on the cliffs of Taihang Mountain. The large-scale water conservancy project with a total length of 1,500 kilometers built on it is called "artificial Tianhe". Passing around the mountains, the spirit moves the world. Hongqi Canal has witnessed China's roads, Chinese power, and Chinese spirit, and is a spiritual monument that will always stand in the hearts of the people.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, we will cultivate the spirit of pioneering and enterprising, facing difficulties, and overcoming difficulties among party members and cadres, and strengthen the cohesion, centripetal force and combat effectiveness of the party organization. On June 26-27, the company’s general party branch organized all incumbent party members and middle and high-level leading cadres to visit and study in Hongqi Canal, Linzhou City, the "National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base", to relive the spirit of self-reliance and hard work of the ancestors. Walking into the exhibition hall of Hongqi Canal Memorial Hall, everyone listened carefully to the wonderful and vivid explanations of the instructors. The vivid pictures, touching stories, and precious objects make everyone feel that the people of Linzhou are not afraid of hardships and dangers when they build the artificial Tianhe, and they are tenaciously fighting and shaking the magnificent scenes of heaven and earth. All were shocked by the Hongqiqu spirit of "self-reliance, hard work, solidarity and cooperation, and selfless dedication".

After visiting the exhibition hall of the memorial hall, all party members and cadres visited the throat project of the main canal of Hongqi Canal-Youth Cave along the channel built on the mountain. Qushui once again felt the hardships and difficulties of "Yugong rises up to the tenth spring and autumn, attracting Zhanghe Runtianhe", and feels the passion of Linzhou people's hard work and the hard-working spirit of the people in Linzhou.

In front of the Youth Cave, facing the bright red party flag, all party members of the company solemnly raised their right fists to revisit the "Party Oath". The sonorous and powerful oath echoed in the towering Taihang, which expressed that all party members did not forget their original aspirations, remember their mission, and stand on their feet. Position, the confidence and determination to strive for.

The Red Flag Canal is an immortal monument of "transforming nature", and it is also an eternal banner. Through visiting and learning, walking in the red footprints, I have a deeper understanding and experience of the spirit of Hongqi Canal, which has far-reaching educational significance. Everyone expressed that they must carry on the spirit of the Hongqi Canal in their work with practical actions, stick to the original aspiration, shoulder the mission bravely, give play to the exemplary role of party members, and strive for the day and night with more enthusiasm for work and the attitude of struggle.
